Grounded Practice: Ethics, Boundaries & Communication

This is a supervised ethics course built around real conversation. Rather than reading alone and answering a quiz, you engage directly with other licensed massage therapists — sharing perspectives, working through case scenarios, and thinking carefully about the situations that actually arise in practice.

Grounded Practice covers the foundational territory of ethics CE: boundaries, scope of practice, consent, professional communication, and decision-making under uncertainty. The difference is in how the material is held. Discussion threads, guided reflection prompts, and peer engagement create accountability and depth that self-paced reading alone cannot replicate.

This course meets Oregon supervised ethics CE requirements and fulfills ethics CE hours in 30+ states. It is NCBTMB approved and delivered through Canvas LMS with open enrollment.

How boundaries function in therapeutic relationships — and what erodes them over time

Ethical decision-making when situations are ambiguous or layered
