Two ways to learn. One standard of supervision.
All courses at Listening Field Training are supervised. Every certificate is issued after your work has been reviewed and accepted by your instructor. What differs is how you engage with the material — and who you process it with.
Pathway 1 — Workbook Courses
Private, instructor-reviewed
Your course arrives as a PDF workbook delivered to your email inbox. No login required. You complete the modules at your own pace, submit your written reflections and quiz answers directly to Melissa, and receive personal written feedback before your certificate is issued.
This is a 1-on-1 format. Your work goes to one person. She reads it. She responds.
Who this is for: Practitioners who prefer private reflection, who want direct instructor feedback on their thinking, or who are completing Oregon supervised ethics CE and want the individual correspondence format.
How it works:
Purchase → PDF workbook delivered to your inbox within 24 hours
Complete modules at your own pace within 30 days
Email your typed assignment and quiz answers to Melissa
Receive personal written feedback + certificate within 24–48 business hours
After purchase, your course materials are delivered by email. Complete the workbook, submit your assignments, and receive instructor feedback before your certificate is issued.
Supervised courses are not complete at purchase. Certificates are issued after all required coursework has been reviewed and accepted.

Pathway 2 — Online Interactive Courses
Self-paced, discussion board, instructor-supervised
Your course is delivered through Teachable. All content — modules, readings, written reflections, discussion board prompts, and quizzes — is available in your dashboard immediately after purchase. You work through the material on your own schedule and engage with structured peer discussion alongside your written reflections. Your instructor reviews participation, provides feedback and issues your certificate.
Who this is for: Practitioners who want a platform-based experience, who learn through peer exchange, or who prefer engaging with a shared discussion board alongside their own reflection work.
How it works:

30 days from purchase to begin; 5 days from first module access to complete
