Live Ethics Labs
Thoughtful conversation. Practical application.
Some moments in massage practice call for more than knowing a policy. A client asks for an exception. A conversation becomes uncomfortable. You want to help, but you’re unsure where your responsibility ends.
Listening Field Training’s live ethics labs offer a structured space to pause, explore those moments, and practice responding with clarity and care.
Trauma-informed ethics is woven into every session. Together, we’ll consider how consent, choice, power, and professional boundaries shape our work—and how to respect clients’ agency while maintaining appropriate limits around our own role.
Each four-hour Zoom lab focuses on a different theme. Choose one that speaks to your practice, or attend more than one. Every session stands alone.
What to Expect
A welcoming, instructor-facilitated learning experience with room for questions, reflection, and different perspectives.
Each lab includes:
Focused instruction on the session’s ethical theme.
Guided scenarios and facilitated discussion.
Individual written reflection.
Practice finding language for boundaries and difficult conversations.
Opportunities to connect what you learn with your professional practice.
You don’t need polished answers, and you won’t be required to share personal experiences. You’re welcome to work entirely with the provided scenarios. Please keep any contributions free of identifying information about clients, colleagues, or employers.
Each session includes four instructional hours, plus scheduled breaks.
