Enrollment & Course Access
Course Delivery & Format
Listening Field Training courses are interactive, distance-learning programs delivered through Canvas. This course meets Oregon's requirements for supervised ethics continuing education for licensed massage therapists, and is structured to meet continuing education requirements in Oregon and Washington State, including supervision, participation tracking, assessment, and documentation. All courses are taught by an NCBTMB-approved instructor, making them accepted in most states that require NCBTMB instructor approval.
State approval note: Approval for New York is currently pending. Florida approval is expected by May 21, 2026. Licensure requirements vary by state. You are responsible for confirming acceptance with your individual licensing board prior to enrollment.
Digital Download & Access Documents
After purchase, you will receive:
- A digital download link via Squarespace containing the Course Access & Enrollment Guide (PDF)
- An email receipt containing the same download link
Download links are time-limited and must be accessed using the same email address used at checkout. You have 24 hours from the time of purchase to download and save all access documents. The PDF contains your Canvas enrollment link and course access code — keep it somewhere you can find it.
Failure to download materials, follow access instructions, or use the access document within the access window does not constitute grounds for a refund.
Setting Up Your Canvas Account
Once you have your Course Access & Enrollment Guide, follow these steps to get started:
1. Open the course link (or enter the access code) from the PDF in your web browser.
2. Enter your name and the same email address you used at checkout.
3. Canvas will send you an email to create and confirm your account, including setting a password.
4. Complete account registration before attempting to access course content.
5. Once your account is created and verified, you can return to the course at any time by logging into Canvas with your email and password.
Important: If you do not complete the email confirmation and password setup the first time you access the course, you may not be able to log back in later. Canvas account creation and login are the responsibility of the student. Listening Field Training does not provide assistance with account setup, passwords, or login issues.
Technical Readiness
This course requires independent navigation of online learning platforms, including downloading and saving PDF documents and registering for a Canvas account. Instructor support is limited to course content and ethics-related questions only. The instructor is unable to assist with:
- File downloads
- Canvas registration or login issues
- Browser, device, or internet troubleshooting
- Account access errors
Listening Field Training is not responsible for temporary service interruptions due to platform outages, scheduled maintenance, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, including issues related to Canvas, Squarespace, or third-party service providers.
Student Online Safety
Course access is provided only through the official links received at checkout and on this website. Listening Field Training will never request external links, files, or screenshots to "fix" access.

Each course within a bundle is a separate program with its own URL, requirements, and certificate. Courses must be accessed and completed individually.
Assignments & Participation
Assignment Completion & Revisions
Assignments are designed to support thoughtful engagement with professional practice, including reflection, application, and integration of course concepts. To receive credit, all required components of each assignment must be clearly addressed.
If a submission is incomplete, you may be asked to revise and resubmit based on instructor feedback. One revision is permitted per assignment. If the revised submission does not meet the assignment criteria, it will be marked incomplete and will not be eligible for credit.
Discussion-Based Assignments
Courses that include discussion-based assignments require written responses that demonstrate engagement with the material. To receive credit, responses must include:
- A clearly identified, relevant resource or reference (when required)
- A brief explanation or reflection demonstrating engagement with the topic
- Application of course concepts to professional practice
Credit (Complete): All required components are clearly addressed. Response demonstrates reflection and application. Meets the intent of the assignment.
No Credit (Incomplete): One or more required components are missing. Response remains at a general or opinion-based level. Does not demonstrate application of course concepts. Does not follow assignment instructions.
Student Responsibility & Professional Conduct
Students are expected to engage with the material in good faith and demonstrate:
- Attention to assignment instructions
- Willingness to engage beyond general opinion or prior knowledge
- Respect for the learning process, the field, and fellow participants
You are responsible for verifying state-specific CE requirements, completing coursework independently and honestly, and submitting certificates as required by your licensing board. Listening Field Training reserves the right to withhold certificates in cases of incomplete coursework or failure to meet participation requirements.
Instructor Availability
The instructor reviews participation and responds to messages within 24–48 business hours, excluding weekends and holidays. If assignment expectations are unclear, reach out before submitting — submitted work must reflect your own engagement with the material and meet the outlined criteria for credit.
Certificates of Completion
Certificates are issued after instructor review of completed work and are typically delivered within 24–48 business hours of course completion (excludes weekends and holidays). If you require expedited processing, email info@listeningfieldtraining.com — same-day processing may be available upon request.
You are responsible for submitting your certificate to your licensing board in accordance with your state's renewal requirements.
