Course Policies
State Approval & Licensure Requirements
Courses offered through The Listening Field are supervised, verified, and structured to meet professional continuing education standards for licensed massage therapists.
These courses meet Oregon continuing education requirements for licensed massage therapists, including supervision, participation tracking, assessment, and documentation.
Massage therapy licensure requirements vary by state. While these courses meet the requirements of most state boards, students are responsible for confirming acceptance with their individual licensing board prior to enrollment, particularly in states that require providers or instructors to hold specific third-party approvals (such as NCBTMB approval).
The Listening Field does not verify individual state requirements on behalf of students and cannot guarantee acceptance outside of Oregon.
Enrollment & Course Access
Upon purchase, students receive access to the course materials and enrollment in the online learning platform. Courses are self-paced and may be completed according to the student’s schedule.
Each course must be completed in full in order for a certificate of completion to be issued.
For bundled offerings, each course is completed and verified individually, and certificates are issued upon completion of each course.
Certificates of Completion
Certificates of completion are issued once all required course components have been successfully completed and verified.
Certificates are typically delivered the same day or within 24 hours of course completion.
It is the student’s responsibility to submit certificates to their licensing board in accordance with their state’s renewal requirements.
Refund Policy
All course purchases are final.
Due to the digital nature of the course materials and immediate access upon enrollment, no refunds are offered under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
• Changes in licensing requirements
• Failure to verify state acceptance prior to enrollment
• Incomplete coursework
• Scheduling or time constraints
By enrolling, students acknowledge and agree to this policy.
Student Responsibility
Students are responsible for:
• Verifying state-specific continuing education requirements prior to enrollment
• Completing coursework independently and honestly
• Submitting certificates to their licensing board as required
The Listening Field does not provide individualized licensure advising or board verification services.
Course Integrity & Professional Standards
Courses are designed to support ethical practice, professional responsibility, and thoughtful clinical judgment. Participation is expected to reflect professional conduct and integrity.
The Listening Field reserves the right to withhold certificates in cases of incomplete coursework or failure to meet participation requirements.
